Starting Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 7 p.m., you can grab your single friends and come to Think Live Escape Games for “Escape and Chill,” a new weekly event exclusively for singles. “Escape and Chill” will begin on Valentine’s Day and continue every Tuesday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. thereafter.
Escape room games are known for improving communication skills, building trust and strengthening relationships. THINK co-founders Greg Kormendi and Shannon Best are launching “Escape & Chill” to offer single people a creative alternative to meeting digitally.
“Escape & Chill is really about taking the awkwardness out of a first-time encounter,” said Kormendi. “We have all been in those situations where we feel forced to make conversation. When you’re placed in a room with strangers, you’re forced to communicate and work together to escape. The process of forging unique bonds with people you’ve never met therefore becomes more natural.”
THINK Live Escape Games offers three never-seen-before escape rooms, Sharky’s Lounge, The Laboratory and The Study. “Escape & Chill” participants will be placed in one of the three rooms, in groups of 12, based on their preferences (age group, man seeking woman, man seeking man, etc.).
“Escape & Chill nights at THINK Live Escape Games is the alternative to going to a bar or club to meet new people,” said Best. “If you want to escape the room on time, there’s three keys to success: communication, teamwork and time management. Coincidently, those are the keys to any healthy relationship, whether it be platonic or romantic.”
