Fort Lauderdale, FL (December 18, 2017) — Laurie Menekou, Founder and President of Fort Lauderdale-based Conceptual Communications, has been selected to serve on the Broward Public Library Foundation Board of Directors.

 

As a board member, Menekou will serve as an active ambassador for the Library Foundation through committee work, board meeting attendance and through the investment in annual membership in the Foundation at the Jefferson Society ($1,000) level or higher.

 

“Fort the past four years I have had the pleasure of co-chairing the annual Lit Lunch and I am honored to have been nominated to join the Foundation’s Board of Directors,” said Menekou. “I grew up in my local library and the continued innovation of our library system here in Broward County is something I am extremely passionate about.”

 

Menekou is involved in several other community organizations as well, including the Center for Independent Living of Broward, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, and Broward Center for the Performing Arts’ Ghost Light Society.
