The Backstory

Founded in 1990 by Eric Perlyn, Stepp’n Up is dedicated not only to collecting and distributing new shoes to children who would otherwise have none, but also to raising awareness of this crisis in our very own communities.

The Stats

To-date, Stepp’n Up has provided more than 28,000 pairs of brand new shoes to children in need. 100% of their donations go to shoes for local children in need – they are all distributed in Broward County to children who are involved with  Children’s Home Society, Jack and Jill Children’s Center and the Ann Storck Center.

There are so many ways to help!

  1. Donate shoes (and socks!)
  2. Write a check
  3. Help wrap the shoes (every child deserves a gift!)
  4. Donate wrapping paper
