On Friday, November 4, 2016, Mayor Seiler announced the Opening of the 31st Annual Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF). The FLIFF runs for 17 days and will present over 200 screenings of films from more than 40 countries.
Independent filmmakers, as well as international celebrities, will be on-hand to introduce their films and participate in nightly celebrations.
The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival is more than just movies. This year, FLIFF will feature nearly 400 events and activities that will take place throughout the vibrant 17-day celebration of cinema, arts and culture.
