Known for its expansive waterways and 23 miles of beach, Fort Lauderdale, often called the Venice of America, has experienced considerable growth in the tourism industry with even more growth expected this year, and Water-Shuttle Fort Lauderdale is poised to take advantage of this boom with the launch of its new water shuttle service. Water-Shuttle Fort Lauderdale, with its fleet of flamingo-pink water shuttles staffed by US-Coast-Guard-certified captains and tour guides, transports passengers to Fort Lauderdale’s premier recreation and cultural destinations via the Intracoastal and the New River.

Water-Shuttle Fort Lauderdale operates, rain or shine, Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and transports passengers to popular destinations along Las Olas Riverfront and Fort Lauderdale Beach, including Beach Place, Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Historic Stranahan House Museum, Bahia Mar and Hyatt Pier 66, via designated stops and whistle stops. While cruising the city’s waterways, passengers are treated to some humor and history from certified boat captains and tour guides and to complimentary signature pink lemonade. All ages are welcome onboard.

Tickets are $23 for adults, $20 for seniors and military and $12 for children under 12. Infants up to 4 years old are free. Tickets can be purchased online by visiting water-shuttle.com, at the Water-Shuttle Fort Lauderdale Kiosk at Riverwalk, 300 SW 1st Ave., Fort Lauderdale, or onboard the water shuttle at any of the stops.
