Fort Lauderdale, FL (April 27, 2017) – For the seventh consecutive year, Victory Living Programs is inviting members of the community to enjoy a gourmet dining experience that will wow your taste buds and support individuals with developmental disabilities. The annual Black and Blue Dine Around event will take place on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 5:30 p.m., at Blue Martini and The Capital Grille located at the Galleria Mall in Fort Lauderdale (2432 E. Sunrise Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304).
Hosted by Steve and Debbie Day, this year’s Black and Blue Dine Around event promises to be the best one yet! Guests will begin the evening with handcrafted cocktails and delicious hors d’oeuvres at Blue Martini, followed by dinner, wine and dessert at The Capital Grille. The night will conclude back at Blue Martini for after-dinner drinks and dancing. All proceeds will benefit Victory Living’s wide variety of programs, which work to help individuals with disabilities live, work and play more independently.
“We are ecstatic that Black and Blue is still going strong after seven years,” said Bobbi Wigand, Executive Director of Victory Living Programs. “The success of this event is attributable to our AngeLs for Victory, the generous support of our sponsors and all who attend, and of course the hospitality and outstanding service provided by Blue Martini and The Capital Grille.”
The menu at The Capital Grille will include a starter of field greens and tomatoes with fresh herbs, main course option of filet mignon, seared citrus glazed salmon or all-natural grilled chicken. The delicious side dishes will include Sam’s mashed potatoes and fresh creamed spinach. The Capital Grille also generously provides their highly anticipated dessert platters for those looking for something sweet to complete their meal.
