Annual Wilton Manors Eggstravaganza, Saturday, March 19, 2016 (Wilton Manors, FL)
Hop into spring with the City of Wilton Manors and Mr. Peter Cottontail at the Annual Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt, which is being held this year promptly at 10:15 a.m., at the newly renovated Mickel Park. Children, from newborns to age 13, will be invited to explore the park and collect the thousands of eggs Mr. Cottontail has filled with goodies and hid throughout the park. There will also be entertainment, concessions, pictures with Mr. Cottontail and much more! This will be a fun-filled event for the whole family. Parking on-site is limited so additional parking is available at St. Clement Church located at 225 NW 29th St and a shuttle will carry passengers every 10 minutes.
Easter 2016 at North Beach Village Resort, Sunday, March 27, 2016 (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
Springtime is a great time of year to enjoy the village life. All throughout North Beach Village, the flowers are in bloom, the birds are chirping and the smell of the ocean air is abundant.
Locals and tourists alike are invited to North Beach Village Resort to celebrate Easter, with a variety of family fun activities.
12 p.m. Village Egg Hunt Bag Decorating: This free, fun filled activity will take place in the courtyard of the Beach Gardens Hotel. Kids (and adults) of all ages are welcome to come and create the Easter egg hunt bag of their dreams.
1 p.m. Village Egg Hunt: This year Peter Cottontail will be busy filling eggs with delicious surprises for two free egg hunts. One egg hunt will be for children under 5 years old and the other for children 5 to 12 years old. The egg hunts will begin promptly at 1 p.m. at both courtyards. After the egg hunt, all are invited to the Village Café for a complimentary Easter cookie treat.
1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Wine & Canvas at Village Design: Love to paint? Join us at North Beach Village Resort’s art galley, Village Design (600 Breakers Ave.) for an afternoon of painting on canvas. Apryl, a local fine artist, will guide participants through engaging step-by-step instruction, with all supplies included. Even those new to painting will have a great time. Village Café Lunch Special: Join us on Easter for $10 bottomless Mimosas and lunch specials which include a smoked Salmon Salad Sandwich with Grapes for $12 or a Chicken Salad Sandwich for $11.
Village Café Dinner Special: Easter Sunday is also National Paella Day! In addition to our full dinner menu, we will be serving traditional Spanish Paella with Lobster at the Village Café for $22.
