Celebrate National Pizza Month with matchbox sawgrass mills and Support Four Nonprofits

Sunrise, FL(September 4, 2018)–October is National Pizza Month and matchbox sawgrass mills is celebrating by offering a new limited-edition pizza every week and contributing $1 from every large and $0.50 from every small limited-edition pizza to four local nonprofits. matchbox sawgrass is also celebrating its 15-year anniversary by offering matchbox loyalty members the exclusive chance to win free pizza throughout the month of November.

“We’re so excited to unveil four new pizza creations that will help South Florida pizza lovers satisfy their cravings throughout the whole month of October,” says Brittany Starek, general manager of matchbox sawgrass mills. “Using the freshest ingredients and blending traditional flavors with some new elements, we hope the entire community visits us to celebrate National Pizza Month and give back to four deserving nonprofits.”

From October 1-8, guests can enjoy the Sweet Chili Chicken Pizza ($14.50 small/$22.50 large) featuring a white garlic and cheese base, roasted chicken breast, sweet chili sauce, sliced red onions, mozzarella, blistered tomatoes, roasted red bell peppers, sriracha, scallion, and cilantro in support of the American Cancer Society(The American Cancer Society does not endorse any product or service).

Then from October 9-16, the BBQ Chicken Pizza ($15 small/$23 large) a.k.a “the one with onion straws” will tantalize taste buds. Built with a white garlic and cheese base, caramelized onions, roasted chicken breast, bbq sauce, mozzarella, blistered tomatoes, onion straws, romano, and grated parsley,proceeds from this mouthwatering gem will support No Kid Hungry.  

The Chorizo Fajita Pizza ($14 small/$21 large) is up next, available from October 17-24, offers a white garlic and cheese base, caramelized onions, chorizo, fajita seasoning, mozzarella, red bell roasted peppers, poblano roasted peppers, and chopped cilantro in support of Hire Our Heroes. 

Lastly, the Buffalo Chicken Pizza ($13.50 small/$20 large), the ultimate brain-power pizza featuring bacon, roasted chicken, creamy mozzarella cheese and buffalo sauce will be available from October 25-31, with part of the proceeds benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Broward.

National Pizza Month pizzas will be served throughout the month of October. Guests are encouraged to join the Match Made Rewardsprogram and then share their pizza photos using #matchboxsawgrass.
