Fort Lauderdale, FL (December 27, 2017) – The American Advertising Federation (AAF), Greater Fort Lauderdale & The Palm Beaches, has named Vivianna Jugo its incoming Public Relations Chair for 2018. Jugo currently works as a Project Coordinator for Conceptual Communications, a full-service marketing and public relations firm in downtown Fort Lauderdale. In her volunteer role as Public Relations Chair, Jugo will build awareness and market its offerings to young professionals in both Palm Beach and Broward counties.

“There’s nothing like being involved in an organization with people who have similar interests and ideas!” said Jugo. “As I continue my career with Conceptual Communications, I am motivated to help other young professionals working in the public relations, marketing and advertising industries network with each other and their more experienced peers so they can expand their skill sets and their connections in the South Florida community.”

Jugo has been a member of AAF since attending college at the University of Central Florida (UCF). While there, she served as a member of Ad Club and then joined the board and served as the organization’s webmaster for two consecutive years. Under her leadership, the club became one of the top AAF student chapters in the country. In addition to being involved with Ad Club as a student chapter of AAF, she also worked closely with local chapters like AAF Orlando and Ad 2 Orlando.

“The connections I have made through AAF have truly helped me grow personally and professionally,” said Jugo.

The Greater Fort Lauderdale AAF chapter was established in 1957 and merged with the Palm Beaches chapter in 2016. For more information on AAF, visit http://www.aafsfl.org/.
